Contains photographs of the following military units : 170th Company, Coast Artillery Regiment; 14th U.S. Infantry Regiment. General description of the collection: The R.V. Vandayburg photograph collection consists of a photo of William Toppila along with various photos of soldiers and buildings. There are two photos of buildings at Fort Morgan, Alabama; two photos of a 12" disappearing gun (one in battery, the other in loading position); a great photo of Company L, 14th U.S. Infantry in dress uniforms; a nice panoramic aerial photo of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, about 1910; two long, rolled photos of the 14th U.S. Infantry on the Mexican Border in 1916; and a souvenir printed image of the Desert Training Center, about 1940.
